Located in Quintero Bay, Puerto Ventanas S.A. (PVSA) enjoys a privileged geographic location, due to its proximity to the industrial developments of central Chile and Mendoza, Argentina.
PVSA's services include storage, port loading, and unloading of bulk materials and products. It has four berths with the deepest drafts in the central region, with capacity to handle vessels of up to 70,000 tons, and fully mechanized facilities that allow for a loading and unloading capacity of more than 18,000 tons per day. This is complemented by the absence of grounding problems, large storage and storage areas, and integration with land transportation through its subsidiary, Ferrocarril del Pacífico S.A. (Fepasa).
In July 2023, PVSA began exclusive operation of Puerto Andino, located in Mejillones Bay, with the capacity to transfer more than 6 million tons of solid and liquid bulk through high-capacity, high-tech unloading systems and conveyors. The terminal also has a maximum draft of 17.9 meters, a total displacement of 198,500 tons, and a design that allows for the operation of capesize vessels.
The services provided serve the mining, energy, construction, and food sectors, among others.
