Sigdo Koppers and Breca agree to buy the largest Brazilian explosives company for US$ 120 million

The group Sigdo Koppers S.A., and Breca, the Peruvian business group led by the Brescia family, through their respective subsidiaries Enaex and Exsa, agreed to acquire in equal parts,two-thirds of Brazil's IBQ Industrias Químicas (Britanite). The transaction represents a total amount of US $ 120 million (equivalent to R$219.200.000), as reported to the Superintendency of Securities and Insurance. The transaction, which values the company at about US $ 200 million, had the support of Merrill Lynch (Bank of America) as a financial advisor.

Sigdo Koppers starts selling in Chile KENWORTH and DAF trucks

Sigdo Koppers, through its subsidiary SK Comercial, signed an agreement with the American company Paccar Inc. - third largest manufacturer of heavy trucks in the world-, to start selling in Chile its well known brands Kenworth and DAF. With this, both brands will be distributed in the country through SKC Transporte, new subsidiary of SK Comercial.&nbsp
